Sova Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sova is a collection of daily puzzle games with an archive, practice mode, leaderboards, leagues and multiplayer matches. The App is free to play, including unlimited practice rounds and multiplayer matches with friends. Version 1.0 shows no ads and offers no in-app purchases. If paid features or ads are added later, we will update these Terms first.

3. Accounts

• You can use the App anonymously without creating an account.
• You may optionally sign in with Apple or Google to keep your progress across devices.
• On leaderboards, leagues and multiplayer you appear under a generated alias (for example "Sova 4821"). You cannot choose a public name.
• You are responsible for the security of the Apple or Google account you sign in with.
• You can delete your account at any time in Me › Settings › Delete account.

4. Multiplayer

• You can invite other players to a match with a code or link. Anyone who has the code can join while the match is open, so share it only with people you want to play with.
• Players in a match see each other's aliases and results in that match.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots or any unauthorized third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it;
• interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks;
• impersonate any person or entity;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Credits

• The Sova name, logo, game designs and original content belong to the developer.
• You may share your game results (scores, emoji grids) freely.
• Some quiz questions are adapted from OpenTriviaQA (uberspot) and are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, as are our adaptations of them. They are not covered by the developer's ownership above.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. Puzzles and quiz answers are prepared with care but may contain mistakes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes are announced through App updates and on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, or remove your results from rankings, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other players or the App. You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
