Sova — Delete Your Account

Delete your account in the app

Works for every player, signed in or anonymous. Deletion is immediate.

1. Open Sova.
2. Tap the Me tab.
3. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Delete by email (signed-in players)

In-app deletion is the main path for every player. If you signed in with Apple or Google and no longer have Sova, you don't need to reinstall it:

1. Email podrska@sovaapp.ba with the subject "Delete my Sova account".
2. Send it from the email address of the Apple or Google account you sign in to Sova with; we find the account by that address. If you used Apple's Hide My Email, write from the address Apple forwards to and say so in the message.
3. We reply to confirm the account is yours, then delete it.

Anonymous players

An anonymous account is not linked to a name or email, so we cannot find it from an email. Delete it in the app (steps above). Removing the app only deletes the data on your device; the data on our server stays tied to a random ID, so the Delete account button is the way to remove it.

What is deleted

• your profile and public alias;
• gameplay history, results, streaks and achievements;
• league membership and leaderboard entries;
• multiplayer matches you created (for all players) and your place in other players' matches;
• analytics events linked to the account;
• your sign-in record (the link to your Apple or Google account); for Sign in with Apple we also ask Apple to revoke Sova's access.

What is kept

• Copies in encrypted database backups, until they are overwritten automatically (a limited period).
• Emails we exchange with you, only as long as needed to handle the request.
• Apple and Google keep their own sign-in records; you can also remove Sova yourself (iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple; Google: your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services).

Timeline

In the app: immediately. By email: within 30 days of confirming the account is yours, usually much sooner. We let you know when it is done.
